THEOLOGY

The SBSET believes the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God.  We believe the Bible is totally true and God breathed.  Our churches adhere to and support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

FELLOWSHIP

The SBSET is part of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.  We support the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as our 6 seminaries, Lifeway, the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and all other agencies of the Southern Baptist Convention.

MINISTRY

Every SBC church is autonomous and independent, but the Association serves as a catalyst and resource agent to support the local church.  We can do things together that no one church can do alone.
